Qualifications and skills requirements:
The Biomedical and Bioinformatics Department requires qualified academic staff to support the rapidly expanding undergraduate and postgraduate curricula in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. The requested staff members will contribute to teaching courses, laboratory and tutorial sessions, supervising student projects, supporting research activities, and assisting in the development of computational pipelines for genomic and transcriptomic data analysis. Their expertise will strengthen interdisciplinary research integrating biology, computer science, mathematics, and artificial intelligence.
Qualifications:
PHD. holders in biomedical engineering / bioinformatics.
Strong research profile with record of publications in top journals and conferences.
Demonstrated experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related disciplines.
Experience in laboratory-based teaching and the ability to establish, develop, and manage teaching and research laboratories.
Proven ability to secure research funding or participate in externally funded research projects is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with academic, governmental, and industrial partners.

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Biomedical and Bioinformatics Engineering.
Develop and continuously improve curricula and course materials.
Conduct internationally competitive research and publish in high-impact journals and leading international conferences.
Establish and maintain externally funded research programs.
Supervise undergraduate projects, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations.
Develop, manage, and maintain teaching and research laboratories.
Contribute to departmental, faculty, and university committees and academic service activities.
Foster interdisciplinary collaborations with national and international academic institutions, healthcare organizations, research centers, and industry partners.
Participate in academic advising, student mentoring, and quality assurance activities.
